Sound Barrier Blankets for Oil and Gas Pipeline and Directional Drilling

eNoise Control has provided sound barrier blankets to many pipeline projects and directional drilling projects across the United States.  When drilling near residential areas typically a temporary sound barrier blanket wall is erected to block line of sight from the equipment to the residence homes.  Sound blankets are used because they are durable, easy to put up and take down and provide superior noise control protection for pipeline and directional drilling projects.  

Directional Drilling

Sound blankets are an acoustical composite product consisting of sound absorber and sound barrier materials sewn with an exterior grade facing for protection.  Grommet holes are employed along the top , bottom or along the perimeter edges to provide a means to attach the blankets to the blanket support system.  Construction sound blankets can be cut bound to height to fit the application and mated with adjacent sound blankets to form a wall as long as needed for the project.  Sound blankets play a vital role in the drilling project’s noise mitigation systems that are temporally constructed with acoustical blankets and a support system. We typically use our stock acoustical blankets with an STC-21 rating or we can fabricate blankets to meet any STC requirements.

Outdoor Sound Blankets

Sound blankets are reusable for multiple projects lifespan and can be taken down and stored for future use if the project application requires it.
