Outdoor Construction Sound Barrier

A new car dealership being built near a strip of offices created loud noise from heavy equipment.  The client contacted us for a solution to this common outdoor noise problem.  Our suggestion was to erect a fence and create a construction site sound barrier with heavy duty outdoor sound curtains.  The curtains were installed on a chain link fence around the perimeter of the job site.  Upon completion of the project, eight feet of the chain link fence would remain as a barrier for the dealership lot.

The outdoor sound curtain construction sound barrier is constructed of a Vinyl Coated Polyester (VCP) fabric facing and diamond stitching.  This material is designed for long-term outdoor use and is impervious to inclement weather, extreme temperatures, and ultra violet light.  The sound blankets are filled with a 2 inch thick acoustical grade fiberglass insulation.  Each noise curtain has grommets on the top and bottom for installation on a fence or other support structure.  The vertical edges feature exterior grade mating Velcro seals to form a continuous wall.
