Wastewater Treatment Plant Noise Control
Wastewater treatment plants contain several large
pieces of mechanical equipment to clean used water and sewage so it can be
returned safely to our environment. The equipment used in these plants create
noise that can potentially be disruptive to home owners nearby.
eNoise Control has worked on several noise problems dealing with wastewater blowers,
wastewater generators, wastewater pumps, etc. Our solutions have ranges from a
simple acoustic louver on an out-building to large dedicated sound enclosure
rooms for noisy pumps. |

Wastewater treatment plants produce noise from several mechanical
equipment sources. |
Pump buildings are notoriously loud. Our consultants can assist the engineer with acoustic
louvers or sound traps that allow air to enter and exit the building yet help
contain the sound inside the building. We can also provide sound absorption
material to help lower the reverberation, echo and build up noise inside the
building.
Positive displacement blowers are also loud mechanical devices we has treated
with sound suppression blankets or enclosures. Outdoor generators can also be
treated with silencers and/or noise enclosures depending on the property line
and noise complaints from neighbors.
eNoise Control can also assist in noise consulting and sound measurements to help with
any property line noise complaint.
